When shipping a package

To send an express shipment, export is booked by sending an email to export@express.is before 1:00 PM. It is important that all export documentation is included. The shipment will then be picked up the same day in Reykjavik area and Keflavik area. An electronic bill of lading can also be prepared on the page below.

The flight departs in the afternoon from Iceland, which ensures quick delivery. The service available with UPS express shipping is as follows:

Delivery in one to two business days if Express is selected:

• Before 12:00 in over 500 cities in Europe.

Delivery in one to two business days if Express Saver is selected:

• By the end of the day in 700 cities in Europe.

Shipments sent collect-on-delivery are always the responsibility of the sender. If the recipient refuses to pay the shipping costs, the charges will be redirected to the sender in Iceland. The recipient still has the right to receive the shipment.

If an exporter intends to apply for a VAT refund or exemption, it is necessary to request an E-14 inspection, during which customs officers will inspect the goods and stamp the export documents. The inspection must take place before the goods leave the country.
